About
Carbon Lifeform is a small artificial lifeform that runs natively on Carbon operating systems - that is, Mac OS 8.x with CarbonLib installed, Mac OS 9, and Mac OS X.
Care
Remember to give Carbon Lifeform regular attention. Watch the progress bar. The lower it is, the more attention you need to give your Carbon Lifeform. If you really need to know what's wrong, look at the diagnosis by clicking on the disclosure triangle.
Feeding
Carbon Lifeform needs feeding. Carbon Lifeform eats real files - drag them onto the Carbon Lifeform. Be careful you don't feed it a file you really need!
Death
Don't let your Carbon Lifeform die. When it does, your Macintosh will shutdown without asking you, so you will lose all your unsaved work. You cannot reset your Carbon Lifeform, so please take good care of it.
